All nationals, except nationals of Australia and New
Zealand, require a visa to visit Australia.
If you are travelling to Australia for tourism or business purposes and are a European Union, or some other European countries, passport holder you can apply for an eVisitor.
What is eVisitor?
An eVisitor is a travel authority to visit Australia. An eVisitor is valid for multiple visits over a twelve month period. An eVisitor can only be applied for online and applicants must be located outside of Australia to be granted an eVisitor.

An Australia ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) is still available through your Travel Agent or Travel Management Company. For Non European passport holders this is the only option available for short term business or tourism visits.
Your ETA visa request will usually be approved within 24 hours however some applications will take up to 72 hours for approval.
An ETA visa is not available to all nationals and is only
available for applicants meeting certain conditions.

The following conditions apply to applicants
of ETA visas;

The applicant’s stay
in Australia will not be more than 3 months |

The applicant is in good
health and has No criminal convictions |

The applicant will not work
in Australia while holding a visitor/tourist ETA |
Applicants who are not able to comply with these conditions
in full will be required to submit a visa application
through the embassy and may experience several weeks
processing time.
Types of visa;
Visitor ETA
For tourism or visiting friends in Australia and staying
up to 3 months on each visit within a 12 month period.
Multiple visits within the 12 months are permitted.
Short validity Business ETA
For business visits to Australia and staying up to 3
months on each visit within a 12 month period. Multiple
visits within the 12 months are permitted.
